Tiffany + Rob
How did you and Rob meet? Rob and I first met in 2009 while he was bartending at Off the Hookah nightclub in Ft.Lauderdale. I was there celebrating with a group of girls for my best friends 23rd birthday. Although Rob and I barely exchanged words that night, he somehow ended up in my camera roll from her birthday bash. Fast forward a few months later and we ended up at the same party in Miami for WMC weekend with a bunch of our mutual friends. My girlfriends and I were all standing around together outside talking, while Rob and his friends were inside spying on us. He pointed me out to one of his best friends and told him “I’m going to marry that girl one day.” Later that night, Rob with his liquid courage, came up to me and started joking about the night we first met and how mad I was that he served me wine in a plastic cup. We had a great time hanging out and chatting together, but I was still hesitant about giving him my number because of his bad boy persona. With reassurance of my friends, I ended up giving it to him. Our first official date was a few weeks later at a sushi bar called Blue Fish in Delray. From that moment on Rob and I were inseparable. I never knew the meaning of true love until Rob walked into my life. He truly is my soulmate.
How did he propose? Rob proposed at one of our favorite restaurants called Three Forks. I seriously had no idea it was going to happen. I’m a very family oriented person, so I thought this was just a regular family dinner. I’m always late to everything, so of course, we were the last to show up. Champange had already been poured and everyone already had their menus. Once Rob and I were seated, the waiter handed me a special menu. Being oblivious, I didn’t think of anything until I saw everyone at the table staring at me. I opened the menu only to find a beautiful calligraphy script with the words saying Tiffany, will you Marry me? It was a beautiful night and one that we will never forget.
What inspired your vision for your wedding day? Disney inspired my vision for my wedding. When I was a little girl, I loved watching Disney movies! I always wanted to be the princess. I wanted the feel of my wedding to be very whimsical and romantic, just like a fairy tail. What advice would you give other couples planning their wedding? The advice I would give other couples planning a wedding is enjoy every moment, even if you’re stressed. The stress will pass and your wedding night will be everything you have ever dreamed. Your hard work will pay off!
